UJ Demolition provides demolition services, site clearance, structural removal, concrete sawing, and related waste management for residential, commercial, and industrial properties in the Gauteng region. All work is performed in accordance with South African occupational health and safety regulations and municipal requirements.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about the property, including existing structures, utilities, and any known hazardous materials. Access to the site must be arranged prior to the agreed start date. Clients must obtain any necessary permissions or permits that fall outside the contractor's scope, unless otherwise specified in the written agreement.
UJ Demolition commits to performing all services with due care and skill, using qualified personnel and appropriate equipment. The company manages asbestos identification, compliance documentation, waste sorting, and rubble haulage as part of standard project execution. All work is carried out in line with the agreed scope and timeline.
The client must ensure the site is free from unauthorised persons during active demolition work. UJ Demolition will implement safety barriers, signage, and dust control measures as required. Any pre-existing site hazards not disclosed by the client may result in work suspension until the issue is resolved.
UJ Demolition maintains public liability insurance covering damage to third-party property and injury to third parties arising from our work. Liability is limited to the value of the contract unless gross negligence is proven. The client is responsible for damage to underground services that were not identified prior to work commencement.
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in writing before implementation. Additional work discovered during the project, such as unexpected reinforced concrete or hidden underground structures, will be quoted separately before proceeding.
Either party may terminate the agreement with seven days' written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date, including materials and disposal costs already incurred.
UJ Demolition may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in regulations or operational practices. Clients will be notified of significant changes via the contact details provided. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
